The Impossibly Fine Art of Floral Fashion

Over the last year, we’ve been searching out and collaborating with some of the world’s best botanical artists and photographers to create this truly unique collection. From textile artists translating gorgeously detailed works of art onto fabric, to the digital printing of the designs at our Italian mills, we wanted to take the timelessness of floral to new frontiers through these exquisite silk dresses that are impossibly beautiful to look at and always a pleasure to wear.

Monet-Inspired Iris Elegance

French photographer and artist Rachel Levy captured this elegant shot of an iris in bloom in the very same Paris garden where Claude Monet often used to paint. We transformed the original image into this flowing print to grace the fitted bodice, swishing skirt and voluminous sleeves of our best-selling Kumiko dress.

Vividly Reimagined Pansy Polka

Collaborating again with Rachel Levy, we reworked her painstaking series of colourful pansy shots into a refreshing twist on the classic polka dot print. Every vibrant petal, digitally printed onto the fabric, pops from the soft ivory silk, turning our Adela Tea Dress – with its trademark silhouettes and contemporary styling – into a peerless treasure.

 Finely Fashioned Ranunculi Radiance

Having seen the sumptuous art of Kate Scott several years ago in Italian Vogue, we’ve loved working with her ever since and feel privileged to be able to re-create her works onto our cloth in interesting and always eye-catching ways. This season the soft and delicate ivories and creams of the translucent petals on the Ranunculi flower glow against the Beau Blue background of our Cora Tea Dress, making you feel like eternal spring whenever you wear it.

Delicately Designed Clematis Couture

We fell instantly in love with the starry bursts of Clematis on this painting by award-winning artist Julia Langley – we saw it climbing and winding over the soft green silk of our Monique Tea Dress and bringing with it beautiful sparks of life. Collaborating with Julia, we had it digitally printed onto the fabric to create a genuinely unforgettable and wholly flattering dress.

Rose-Painted Vintage Versatility

With every single rose bloom hand-painted onto the original vintage drawing, we translated the design onto Paris Pink silk to create this glorious piece, which helps a truly classic look live on into new decades with fierce freshness and bold colour. You’ll want to wear it everywhere and anywhere – whether it’s a day in the city or a day at the races. And thanks to its timeless elegance, you can.
