The Tropical Caribbean Cotton Sun hat is a brand new style for the season. Created by milliner Ruth Ravenscroft.
The classic sun hat block has been constructed with a beautiful Italian cotton drill, printed with our Tropical Caribbean print, one of the statement cloths of the Suzannah London SS26 vacation collection.
The Tropical Caribbean print was inspired by the island of Barbados , the flora and fauna of this magical island and the warm delicious sea around it and also the charm and beautiful quirks of The Cobblers Cove resort. A place that Suzannah personally loved to visit.
Suzannah worked together with the illustrator Susannah Garrod, who painted Suzannah’s personal photographic inspiration. The artwork was painted with the illustrators coveted fine handwork and then worked into a textile design for this absolutely beautiful white sunhat.
A romantic piece of visual textile poetry, combining candied pastel tones and sweet Caribbean brights.
The hat feature a soft brim and an organic cotton corded tie with wooden toggle that allows you to fasten the hat under the chin or wear to the back of the neck. The soft structure of this piece allows it to be easily stored, packed and folded for travelling. The hat has beautiful proportions and is cleverly stiffened within the brim to enable the brim to flip up and stay flipped!
