This is a classic dress, cleverly designed and well-executed. It will work in more seasons than I originally thought. The full skirt flows beautifully, thanks to inverted pleats and the body of the silk. And I can turn the collar up slightly for a chic effect. It’s great to find a special dress that I, in my early 50s, feel lovely wearing.
The Kew Dress is beautiful, the fit is very flattering and the fabric has a luxurious texture. No doubt going to be my ‘go to’ special occasion wear.
This is the most beautiful event dress. I love everything about it- it’s definitely got the wow factor! The dusty blue is a lovely colour and the tweed fabric is light enough for summer events but I could also see myself wearing this in winter if the occasion arose. The cherry on the cake it the bow at the back, my favourite!
I absolutely love this dress! It fits perfectly and is completely true to size. The cut is gorgeous and it’s so comfortable to wear. The material is brocade like, it’s incredibly stylish and definitely has the wow factor. I honestly couldn’t be happier with it, I love everything about the dress! Delivery was super quick too, which was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend!
I discovered the beautiful Garden Dress by Suzanne of London and it has quickly become one of those pieces I find myself reaching for again and again.
I first wore it to my daughter’s graduation in Bath on an extremely hot day, and it was simply perfect. The material felt beautiful against my skin, the cut was so easy to wear, and the dress is beautifully tucked in at the waist, with a flattering neckline and a wonderfully floaty, flattering skirt. I felt quietly, essentially English wearing it — it was the perfect dress for such a special day.
I discovered the Suzanne of London shop on New Quebec Street, London, just behind Selfridges. And, as if that wasn’t enough, along the same street I came across Emmy of London, who specialise in wonderfully comfortable shoes and matching accessories. So, in one very convenient street, I was able to find the whole outfit!
To complement the dress, I chose high block suede heels in the most beautiful rose pink, together with a matching leather handbag. The perfect finishing touches.
Since then, the Garden Dress has accompanied me everywhere: shopping, a quick supermarket run — where I received so many lovely comments! — lunch, supper, family events and more. It is an incredibly versatile dress that can be dressed up or worn effortlessly for everyday occasions in flat shoes.
Next on the agenda is taking it to Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace — I can’t think of a more fitting setting! I am also currently awaiting delivery of a matching hat, which I know will complete the look beautifully for this event.
Since purchasing my Garden Dress, I’ve found myself drawn back to the Suzanne of London website, researching my next investment. I already have my eye on a few more pieces.
