Our soft, smokey blue Love Story Tea Dress is a divine and beautifully flattering 1930s-inspired tea-length dress.
Crafted from exquisitely printed Italian silk crepe and designed in collaboration with British artist Rob Ryan.
Rob Ryan's work explores themes of longing, connection, devotion, and nature. The emblems of birds and locks point toward emotional bonds—moments held safely within something living and growing.
The stunning artwork was created exclusively for Suzannah. He hand-cut the design from paper, then translated it into a unique repeat pattern, expertly printed onto our signature silk crepe in Italy.
Based on our best-selling Gloria silk tea dress silhouette, this style combines elegant, flattering proportions with romantic full-length sleeves, smocking at the empire line and shoulders that capture the 1930s aesthetic. The bias-cut skirt falls to a graceful midi length.
Italian silk habotai lining runs from empire to hemline, with an invisible centre back zip for effortless dressing. Style this dress with soft knitwear and flats for daytime elegance, or pair it with statement millinery and heels for special occasions.
