Suzannah London is excited to reveal the complete Orchid collection, created in collaboration with the award-winning British artist Kate Scott.
Suzannah London is proud to champion female entrepreneurs, artists and is constantly inspired by the women she dresses. This unique Orchid collaboration, like the flower, blossomed as Suzannah and Kate worked together and understood each other’s vision.
The print expertise and techniques used were developed by skilled specialists and produced in a family-run Italian mill in Como that are experts at achieving beautiful intricate and precise floral art through skilled digital printing.
The florals have been set on beautiful light backgrounds, to look like they can be plucked straight from the cloth, that softly drapes and flows around the form.
This beautiful collection features our signature Suzannah London Tea Dress alongside a luxurious silk jumpsuit and silk hand rolled scarves featuring Kate Scott's exclusive elegant Orchid print.
The Collaboration
"I initially discovered Kate's work in Italian Vogue and fell in love with the impact and intricate detail in each floral. Kate has kindly let us translate her artwork into fashion on the finest silks," says Suzannah of the collaboration with the award-winning Fine Artist Kate Scott on this exclusive collection of beautiful orchid print pieces.

The Fabric
The beautiful orchid artwork is reworked into a repeat pattern and printed onto premium Italian silks by our expert silk mill in Como, Italy. This printing technique keeps the intricate detail of the original artwork.

The Detail
"The flowers are scanned at high resolution then digitally painted, pixel by pixel, capturing the tiniest of detail, often invisible to the naked eye," explains Scott. The intricate orchid image by Kate Scott has been transformed onto 100% silk.
