For life’s most special moments, Suzannah London offers a Made to Order and Private Commission service, allowing you to create a piece that feels entirely your own.
Whether you are preparing for a wedding, an important engagement or a significant occasion in your calendar, our team will guide you in selecting or refining a design that reflects both the moment and your personal style.
Appointments are held in our London boutique, with virtual consultations available for international clients.
1. THE STYLE
Select your preferred style in our made-to-order collection or from our archive collection and get in touch to begin your order.
You can contact us by email, by phone or WhatsApp, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
2. The Design
Next, we’ll guide you through fabric and colour selection. Where available, we can arrange a sample to try (this depends on stock and sizing, and we may suggest an adjacent style if a sample isn’t available).
For Bespoke orders, this stage includes an initial consultation and, if needed, sketches to confirm the final look before the order is placed.
3. The Craft
Once confirmed, your piece is made in our London atelier.
Made to Order may include small alterations, while Bespoke includes fittings (up to three) to perfect the fit.
Your finished garment will then be shipped to you or prepared for a boutique fitting/collection, depending on your preference.
Frequently asked questions
Amendments may be possible within a short timeframe before production begins. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible after placing your order.
Each piece is thoughtfully crafted especially for you once your order is placed, ensuring exceptional quality and a considered, waste-free approach to production. The garment will be made in the standard UK size you choose. If you are able to travel to our London boutique for a fitting, we can then make any necessary alterations to perfect the garment to your body shape. We also offer a full made-to-measure service for in-store clients. Please contact us for more information and the approximate costs.
Our artisans require approximately 3 - 12 weeks to create your garment. Once complete, you will receive confirmation and tracking details for delivery.
If you use our made-to-order and couture services, the garments will be bespoke to you and are therefore non-refundable or exchangeable once we’ve been commissioned.
If you are ordering from the current season collection, your piece will be made true to the design and finish shown.
On occasion, a small number of styles may be crafted in an alternative fabric. This can happen if the original cloth is no longer available or if we refine the fabrication to better suit the silhouette. Where this applies, the overall look and integrity of the design remain the same, and fabric swatches are available to review prior to production.

For select styles, an expedited service may be offered for an additional fee. Please enquire prior to ordering.

Yes, by creating each piece only when ordered, we minimise excess stock and waste, supporting a more responsible approach to luxury fashion.

Yes, all international orders are shipped with tracking and are insured for peace of mind, and you will receive updates from dispatch through to delivery.
