This exquisite printed Italian Cotton Shirt Dress is a stylish and versatile addition to your wardrobe, destined to become a cherished favorite. A true timeless modern classic , it features a unique print inspired by an original oil painting commissioned to create the stunning textiles.
Marieluise Bantel, an award-winning German oil painter, is renowned for her extraordinary talent and love for botanicals and nature's beauties. She meticulously painted vibrant plum and cherry blossoms from her garden with remarkable precision and grace. Her artwork seamlessly complements Suzannah’s designs, bringing elegance and charm to life.
Collaborating with a talented textile designer, Suzannah transformed Marieluise’s artwork into a stunning repeat pattern on a soft but crisp white background. The design was then printed by an Italian mill onto luxurious, soft cotton, highlighted with rich cranberry accents that enhance its depth and sophistication.
This premium dress is effortlessly versatile, transitioning seamlessly from daywear to special events. It is flattering, elegant, comfortable, and effortlessly chic.
Key features include self-covered buttons, a button-through front, and a soft 1950s-inspired silhouette with slim, cuffed sleeves ending at the elbow. Thoughtful details such as side pockets, a bodice and sleeve lining in soft viscose, and a self-covered buckle belt with cranberry suede piping ensure both style and comfort.
Pair with millinery and delicate heels for formal occasions or dress down with ballet flats for a polished daytime look.
