A beautiful 1950's inspired, midi length, printed GOTS certified organic cotton shirt dress with print designed in collaboration with British Artist Rob Ryan.
Based on Rob's 'I Can't Forget' artwork which symbolises freedom and wildness.
The artwork has been manipulated by the Suzannah London textile designer to work with the beautiful shirt dress silhouette. The fabric has been printed in Italy. The colour-way is a rich bright red with inky navy blue print.
Both the cloth and digital printing are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) certified. A beautiful and sustainable choice!
The dress has a button through classic design with beautiful sleeves that have a soft pleat detail at the shoulder and finish at bracelet length, with elastication at the cuff hem for comfort and style, and a light feminine gather. The dress has side pockets.
The bodice is lined for structure. The skirt is unlined, to be left light and carefree and to enable the dress is easy to machine wash on a gentle cool cycle , and easy to iron afterwards.
We recommend you use a non-bio washing product and turn the dress inside out to maintain the colour intensity.
Fabric covered buttons and a detachable hand-made, suede backed structured belt finish the dress beautifully.

This organic cotton poplin is Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) certified, which defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and also requires compliance with set social criteria.
The cloth is printed digitally with GOTS certified inks.
Digital printing is currently the most environmentally friendly method of printing as it dramatically reduces the amount of wasted ink, compared to more traditional methods such as screen printing.
Manufactured by a small family run Atelier in Portugal.
