Tailored cocktail dress with a 1940s vibe and a modern slick perspective Tailored from Italian Silk Gazar. A softly structured style with ultimately flattering lines to skim over the body. Available in Watermelon which is the most delicious pinky coral tone inspired by a 1950's cocktail dress. The fabric does not crease easily, and has a matt lustre. Also available in Navy Blue Silk Zibelline to order. We have several jacket styles which can be made to order to compliment this dress in the same colour, Oyster or navy blue.

The model in this photograph is 5ft 11"

Stunning sculpted cocktail event dress with a 1940's heritage. Perfect for the races and for weddings.

Folds, tucks and sculpted lines shape lift and flatter the body.

The ultimate in sophistication whilst maintaining a level of charm and playfulness. Watermelon shell with Putty lining.

Unbelievably fabulous fit, sculpting the body. Length below the knee. with  back slit ( not as cut away as photo suggests. Simple slit).

This dress needs minimal styling to maintain its modern clean perspective. A slick cuff or smooth slick evening clutch is enough to set off the dress to its ultimate. Heavier set almond-toe court shoes would be fabulous. Slick millinery adds definition and vintage couture heritage for any event from the races to weddings.

If you are in need of hosiery, we recommend Falke Sheer Micro Mesh hosiery to wear with this dress, available to buy over the telephone from our boutique ( 0207 286 8280) This hosiery gives a dry not glossy appearance and is a very very fine fish net which allows your natural leg colour to come through, which is perfect for photographs. Also, they look more modern and in keeping with the dress than a sheer gloss hosiery.

100% Silk Gazar, lined in acetate.

Tailor made in London.

Also available in Harvey Nichols. Manchester, Birmingham, Dublin.
